I was a regular at the Glenn in the 70s, for both the summer 6 hrs/Can Am and the fall F1. I was at both the 70 and "Bog needs a Bus" events (Emerson Fittipaldi fans from Brazil, with all their luggage on the bus when it was "sacrificed"- welcome to America!). Kendall Tech Center access was awesome, I remember standing directly behind a Can Am exhaust pipe at 10PM on a saturday night as the mechanics rev'd the crap out of it to verify it was ready for morning warm up. Eyes watering, ears ringing...fantastic times for a 16 year old!
Five solid hours of Formula One this morning over two platforms without commercial interruption.
