As my world shrinks physically so does my capacity to drag stuff around and store it. I’ve started to write my memoir and have completed one-and-a-half episodes of a planned seventy-one so far.
Substack doesn’t handle video well and why should it ? It’s a writer’s platform. So I’ll provide links to my YouTube channel to show various items in greater detail.
Today, let’s start with a pair of vintage turntables that have been in my family since new, the purchases of which I oversaw:
KLH Model 26 turntable with built-in amplifier, made in Cambridge, Massachusetts, mid-sixties. Comes with the original user manual, a $35.00 value according to eBay. PRICE: $325.00.
Phillips 427 turntable, made in Holland, mid-seventies. PRICE: $125.00
I probably only need one turntable, but I'll pass this info along. Don't divest TOO quickly!
